Justin Lau is an entrepreneur, businessman, and military veteran diverse functional and leadership experience. Justin started his career at the US Air Force Academy where he studied electrical engineering and competed in the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis starting line-up. After graduating, Justin served in active duty as a pilot-in-command of the E-3 AWACS for 7 years, accruing over 1700 flight hours (958 combat), multiple air medals, and numerous leadership awards.
With nearly a decade of public service under his belt, Justin turned his sights towards the private sector where he accepted a role at GE Aviation in 2014. At GE, he sold and executed multi-million dollar avionics contracts as an Engineer, Global Sales Leader, and Program Manager before transitioning to Emerson's Corporate Strategic Planning team in St. Louis, MO. At Emerson, Justin worked closely with the Office of the Chief Executive on global business reviews, M&A strategy, investor relations, and long-range planning where his research in advanced energy, sustainability, and decarbonization set a new strategic direction for Emerson.
